The majority of repairs are conducted at McBain’s facility in Simi Valley, California USA although we service and repair microscopes from all 50 states and from outside the United States.
Yes. We frequently receive microscopes from outside of California and will ship them back to you after repair-service.
Yes, McBain is often contracted by Universities or labs with a large number of on-site instruments that our technicians can service on-site if needed. Additionally, if you have a large or non-moveable microscopy system we can also travel to your location to conduct repairs. Contact us about your specific situation and we can advise.
In most cases we can provide an accurate estimate without in-person inspection. In some cases we need to physically inspect the microscope in order to understand specific service or repair requirements.
